How to be More Productive ~ Learn and Grow
Increase your Productivity with an untraditional approach
Isn't sometimes the total number of tasks that you complete in a day, becomes very hard to achieve? Well what is the reason behind that? Often, people think, negligence of following a proper schedule and strategies to finish tasks-in-hand is a major reason behind an unproductive day. However, that’s not the only cause.
More often, what is your mood, how you feel, on a
particular day, plays a critical role in determining your productivity. For instance,
when people get a positive-boost in the morning then they are deemed to be more
creative and productive in the workplace versus when they come with a certain
worry in their head.
Since our mood depends on many factors, therefore we cannot
contemplate to change it completely, still there are ways to manipulate it.
That’s what we will discuss in this blog: How to change your mood so that it
will help you to increase productivity.
Since morning is very crucial timing, we will start by it. Always
start your day with some positive affirmations; be in a silent place, close
your eyes, and affirm something like this:
“Every day is a new starting, the
sorrows and disappointments that you felt yesterday, should now not be the
guiding impulses that drives you forward in the world. In other words, free yourself
from any bondage that prevent your flight. What happened yesterday was a past,
a past that you can’t anymore change, however what is ahead is in fully your
control to determine. So be the Creator.”
Another exercise for the morning is about clarifying all the tasks, all the to-dos that you want to accomplish in the day. Going through the list within the mind had an unconscious effect. It makes the mind pre-determined for the challenges that will arise in the undertaking to finish them.
Now let’s jump to the execution point!
For execution do not follow the list chronologically. Instead,
follow it in a way that you first complete the easiest task. Well why? Because after
completing any task successfully our mind releases Dopamine in high levels,
making us feel proud of ourselves and the work that we did. Once this happens,
we get charged to do more, to accomplish more. Since the easiest task are
easily achievable, that feeling will get into your nerves. So if you chronicles
your To-do list in such a way that the easiest tasks will be the first to do
and hardest will be up in the ladder, then you will find yourself more open and
vulnerable to whatever comes ahead. You will be more productive then!
